- Wear strip material is UHMW.
- FDA approved belting & plastic components.
Curved Flat Plastic Chain Features & Benefits:
- Frame is constructed of continuous TIG welded 304 stainless steel and is designed with no horizontal surfaces for optimum cleaning. Conveyors over 10’ (3048mm) consist of multiple sections which are bolted together.
- All bearings are 400 stainless steel, filled with H1 FDA lubricant and mounted in cast stainless steel housings for maximum performance in washdown environments.
- Solid UHMW wear strips are easily lifted out of the frame without tools to minimize cleaning time.
- Belt tensioning mechanism is constructed of 304 stainless steel and is externally mounted to the frame with adequate clearances for cleaning. No external threads are used.
- Conveyor is designed to withstand high pressure (100-1500 PSI) spray and chlorinated solutions.
- Frame cut-outs (optional) are available to allow spraying the inside of the conveyor without lifting the belt.
- The return belt supports are segmented plastic slide blocks and are easily removed without tools for effective cleaning.
- Drive sprockets are mounted to a 1.5” square stainless steel shaft without fasteners to provide optimum drive strength and cleanability.
- Nose bar idler ends (optional) are constructed of a machined UHMW bar to provide a 2.5” diameter transfer.
- Belt Lifters (optional) raise the belt from the wear strips by simply pulling an external lever for fast access and effective cleaning.
- The tool-less tip up pulley (optional) allows conveyor end to be lifted easily for quick access to inside of conveyor for cleaning.
- The nose bar drive configuration (optional) allows the use of the Nose Bar transfer on each end of the conveyor for small product transfers.

Available Pre-Engineered Options

Note: Proper conveyor application, cleaning and sanitation is the responsibility of the end user.
When required Dorner can passivate conveyors or provide most materials in 316 or 316L stainless steel.

Curve Parameters |

Curved Flat Plastic Chain Parameters:
- Every conveyor will consist of a minimum of 3 modules:
(1) Infeed/Idler module, (1) Curve module and (1) Exit/Drive module
- Up to six more “Curve” or “Intermediate Straight” modules can be added to total 9 possible modules.
- 2 Curves per conveyor with a maximum total degree of turns of 240º.
(Up to 4 curves per conveyor is possible dependent upon conveyor length and degree of curves, Consult factory.)
- Overall conveyor length may be dependent upon total curves, belt width, etc.
- Each conveyor module has its own catalog part number, so a curved conveyor could consist of up to 9 catalog part numbers
- Infeed and Exit modules allow for the stand nearest the pulley to have its location selected. Any other stands for these modules
will have predetermined locations.
- Curves and Intermediate straight modules will have stand mounting holes in predetermined locations. However, a “stand/no
stand” selection is required in the part number to determine if the connecting bracket is needed between modules. The stands
act as the connector between modules if stands are ordered. If “no stands” is selected, connecting brackets are included.

Notes:
-
Conveyor load capacity depends on conveyor size, incline, motor position, accumulated loads and other factors.
-
-
Dimensions are represented in inches, feet, and (millimeters).
-
Due to the wide variety of drive set-ups and applications, point of installation guarding is the responsibility of the end user.
