PACK EXPO Booth Preview - Part 1


Dorner will be exhibiting at PACK EXPO 2017 from September 25-27 in Las Vegas, NV. Before you see us in person in Booth C-1444, we're giving you a sneak peek of the displays we'll have running.

Last year we premiered our new packaging loop at PACK EXPO in Chicago, IL and this year we're bringing it to Las Vegas!

The new display contains six conveyors and demonstrates the many different ways to handle relatively small product.

Vanessa Hinrichs is Recipient of the 2017 Richard C. Ryan Packaging Education Scholarship


Vanessa Hinrichs, a student at the University of Wisconsin – Stout, is the recipient of the 2017 Richard C. Ryan Packaging Education Scholarship, funded by Dorner Mfg. Corp. 

This $2,000 scholarship, established in honor of Richard Ryan, the former president and CEO of Dorner, who passed away suddenly in September 2012, is awarded to a student enrolled in a two- or four-year program at any school partnered with PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technology. Ryan was a member of the PMMI Board of Directors and encouraged lifelong learning. His commitment to education inspired the creation of this memorial scholarship.

FlexMove Expands its Offering by Manufacturing Dorner’s 2200 Series Conveyors


FlexMove now manufactures Dorner’s 2200 Series flat belt conveyors from its Malaysia facility.

 

FlexMove, a Dorner Holding Company, is a manufacturer of flexible chain conveyor systems for the food, beverage, automotive, electronic and automation industries. 

The 2200 Series is designed to move small to medium sized parts efficiently and quickly. The conveyor line underwent a redesign just last year to make this product stronger, faster and more flexible. It features a robust, single piece frame design that reduces the overall number of needed stands. The frame comes with a Universal T-Slot that is compatible with industry standard hardware and makes attaching accessories and guiding fast and easy.

Dorner Appoints New Regional Sales Manager for Texas and Louisiana


Scott Lister has been appointed Regional Sales Manager covering Texas and Louisiana for Dorner Mfg. Corp. In this new position with Dorner, Lister will be working with sales channel partners and key accounts to grow the company’s industrial and sanitary conveyor business, as well as focusing on the automation markets throughout both states.
