Dorner makes 800 pounds of speakers turn on a dime.

Moving 800 pounds of speakers down a
90-foot production line, without product transfers, on a continuous belt powered by one motor is the kind of challenge Dorner engineers thrive on. Add 5 curves (one of them a 180° turn) and you have a problem-solver's dream.

This challenge was brought to us by a manufacturer that needed to maximize assembly-process efficiency while reducing wasted facility floor space. Dorner engineers got to work. Using a specialized modular belt with bearings on one side, they devised a system that could handle the weight and the 5 changes in direction. To top it off, a blue chain was used to hide the dirt and dust that accumulates in the speaker assembly process.

The proof is in the AquaPruf

Dorner’s AquaPruf 7600 Ultimate series, certified by the USDA as accepted equipment in red meat and poultry applications, dramatically increases processing efficiency and cost effectiveness. Here's the proof.

Besides its hygienic design, the AquaPruf Ultimate series uses MOL Thermodrive® belting. These solid urethane belts help to eliminate high conveyor system bacteria counts, reducing product waste (thereby saving money). Their smooth design virtually eliminates the broken plastic pieces that often plague modular systems (thus saving money), and reduces the labor hours required to sanitize the system (thus saving time). In fact, Thermodrive® belting can be cleaned up to 85% faster than modular belting. It consumes 65% less water for sanitation than modular belting, decreasing waste (and saving money) and further reducing maintenance man hours (saving even more time). Add up all the (savings …) and you arrive at the proof that the Dorner AquaPruf Ultimate series with MOL Thermodrive® belting boosts efficiency and effectiveness for manufacturers everywhere.
